You can get accommodation here for as little as € 15 per night and the food is also very inexpensive. For a dinner in a chic restaurant in the city center, you only pay the equivalent of around € 8. Another plus point: there are many interesting excursion destinations around Makarska. If you ever get bored, you can, for example, go to the coastal city of Split, which is only an hour away. But the dream islands of Brač and Hvar can also be reached by ferry in just two hours.
Rab
Rab is the southernmost of the Kvarner islands and is one of the most popular destinations for a summer vacation. This is no wonder, because Rab is an absolute bathing paradise. There are many fine sandy beaches on the island that are rarely found in Croatia. Especially in the region around Lopar and Kampor in the north of Rab there are many flat sandy beaches such as the famous 1.5 km long Paradise Beach, while Barbat and Banjol are better known for their pebble beaches and small bays. You can get an accommodation on the island from 25 €, a dinner costs around 7 €. Here, too, you can save a lot and still have a great vacation.
